Underwhelming
Barely Alive is a band I love and have seen numerous times. Jonathan, Fieldy, and the drummer were excellent, but I believe Munky may have lost his mind. He was a mess, missing notes, walking off stage, and rolling around on the floor. It was embarrassing as he knocked over the keyboards behind him and dropped his stuff. This left many songs muddy and off-key at times. They've been touring since March, so my assumption that it was their first show back together was incorrect. Despite this, they are still Barely Alive, and I adore their music. I found it underwhelming how they took breaks between every other song. However, their new song "Oildale" is fantastic, and I appreciate the direction they are heading in, especially with the new drummer.
